Waterfield's is not a gluten free environment so even if the product does not contain gluten there is always a chance of cross contamination.

At the moment we don't offer a delivery service, all of our cakes can be collected from your nearest Waterfield's shop, which are conveniently located around the Northwest. Follow the link to find your nearest Waterfield's shop.
We understand that you may need to cancel your order for unforseen circumstances and want to try to help where possible. Please see below cancellation restrictions: Orders cancelled two months before the due date will receive a full refund Orders cancelled between two months and two weeks will receive an 80% refund Orders cancelled between two weeks and one week will receive 50% refund. Orders cancelled one week before collection will not receive a refund To cancel your order, please contact us directly at cakes@waterfields.co.uk listing your name and order number and we will process your request in accordance with the above restrictions.
Each cake will have information on size, portions and shape. Remember our portion information is just a guide - the number of portions will depend on how generous the person cutting the cake is feeling.
When ordering a cake the image shown at the end is as close as the cake decorator can achieve - identical matches for the colours displayed on screen are not possible.
Your cake will be delivered to the Waterfield's shop of choice in a cake box, depending on the size of the cake it may not have a lid, but will be covered in cellophane to protect it.
We promise we will endeavour to respond to your online enquiry within 48 hours Monday - Friday.
At Cakes by Waterfields we aim for the best quality and satisfaction from our customers. However, if you are not 100% happy with your purchase we would like to make it better for you. Upon collection of your product it is your responsibility to check that the product matches the order confirmation you received at point of purchase. Once you have collected your product, Waterfields will consider this to be confirmation that your product is correct and matches the order you placed and is not damaged. Although we endeavour to ensure our cakes are packaged carefully, Waterfields are not responsible for any damage incurred to your purchase during transportation from the collection point. We recommend that all cakes are transported flat so they do not move during transportation. We hope there should be no reason to return your product to us, However, Should you wish to, the returns procedure is detailed below: Return the cake with proof of purchase and your reason for return to your nearest Waterfields shop and they will deal with your request. If it is not convenient to return the cake to your nearest shop, then please contact us at cakes@waterfields.co.uk listing your name, order number and any photos with your reason for return and we will deal with your return request.
