Photo Cakes

Q. How is the photograph printed on the cake?
A. The image is created by using edible food colourings which are printed on to an edible sugar sheet. This is then placed on top of the cake. Isn't technology wonderful!



Q. What do I need to supply?
A. We can scan and print any photograph or image up to A4 size. Please note that when scanning and printing the quality deteriorates so make sure you give us the best quality of photograph or image you can.



Q. Will I get my photograph back?
A. Yes, your original photograph will be returned with your cake.



Q. How do I send the original photograph /picture to you?
A. Please send your original print by post to Web Cakes, Waterfields (Leigh) Ltd, Crompton Fold Bakery, Manchester Road, Leigh WN7 2LX. Remember to include your name, address, phone number and order number. To help us complete your cake on time, please post the image to us by first class post within 2 days of order date.



Q. Can I email the image to you?
A. If you wish to email a digital picture we can accept jpeg format. (Digital cameras usually produce a jpeg image) Please include order details and tel no together with your image. Email to webcakes@waterfields-bakers.co.uk To avoid any delay please send us your image within two days of date of order. Rest assured that we will contact you if there is any problem with the quality of the image.



Q. What is the charge per image?
A. One full colour or black and white scanned image is included in the price of the cake. Extra scans are charged at £5 each.
