Q. What are the recommended guidelines for fruit and sponge cakes?
A. Rich Fruit Cake can be stored in a cool, dry place for up to 2 months (do not refrigerate). Once the cake has been cut for eating, wrap any cake left over in cling film and store in an airtight container. Best eaten within 10 days. Sponge & Chocolate Sponge Cakes will keep for up to 7 days in a cool, dry place (do not refrigerate). Once cut for eating, wrap any left over cake in cling film and store in an airtight container. Best eaten within 2 days of cutting.
